Breast Cancer Awareness CAKE! March 10, 2010

So when I do something I like to go ALL the way with it! So when one of my co-workers asked me to make a cake for a cancer fundraiser her biker group was doing I was ready to roll! Then I asked what theme she would like for the cake and after a moment of thought came “boobies”! I LOVE IT! And so here I present the “save the tata’s” boobie cake!

On the subject of tutorials my sister, Kymy, has a great list made up with TONS of links to tutorials.   There is everything from clothes for nursing mommy’s to clothes for the little boys and girls.  The baby legs tutorial is fab and they come out so CUTE!  There are 841+ patterns and tutorials listed and sorted! One of the best parts about it is I believe they are all FREE patterns and tutorials! You cant beat that. She has some great tutorials on her blog as well that you just have to check out.

OMG! i just made the yummiest dinner ever! it was really simple to make too! since i was making it for just me and hubby i used:

– 2 skinless chicken breasts cut into cubes or strips

– 1 red pepper

– 1 small to medium onion

– 3 or 4 tablespoons honey

– olive oil

– salt to taste

– pepper to taste

– 1 teaspoon oregano

– 1/2 tablespoon parsley

– 1/2 flour

– 1/4 cup water

– 2 cups prepared rice

Now to make it, cut up your onion and pepper into bite size pieces…or whatever size you feel like. I sauted the onions then the red peppers each by themselves in a small amount of olive oil to make sure they were cooked enough, you want them tender but not soft as you are going to put them back in, remove from pan. Add more olive oil to pan and add your chicken, add your salt, pepper, oregano, and parsley and cook in your flavors a bit. Drizzle your honey on the chicken and stir in. After your chicken is fully cooked add your onions and red peppers back in. Saute together for a little longer then add your water, once heated add your flour making sure to blend in immediatly. Once everything is fully cooked your done! Just throw on a bed of rice and you have a yummy meal!
